We currently have an opportunity for a Tank Wash Shift Leader (2nd shift).

This position supervises labor and is in charge of the facilities for the Winter Haven Truck Wash facilities while promoting safety and incorporating company policies and procedures at all times. Must be flexible to work different shifts and weekends.


  • Ensure the safety of all assigned personnel, equipment and facility at all times
  • Maintain accountability of all assigned personnel at all times
  • Ensure the proper sanitation of all tankers following the JPA Guidelines
  • Ensure the HACCP Plan is followed and corrective actions implemented as necessary
  • Initiate startup procedures each shift as written in the foot Safety Program Guide
  • Proper mixing and testing of all chemicals as prescribed by the chemical manufacturer
  • Inspection and signoff of the following logs and checklist each shift:
CIP Filter Bag Vessel Inspection Log 
CIP Filter Log 
Well Water Inspection Log 
Master Sanitation Checklist 
Daily Sanitation Checklist
Daily Tank Wash Log

Waste Water Daily Checklist
Daily pH Monitoring Log
Daily Waste Water Flow Readings
Daily Tanker Seal Control Log
Daily Swab Test Log
Waste Water Treatment Checklist's and Logs

  • Daily Operations and Inspection of the Ottawa Yard Truck vehicle
  • Placement of tankers in and out of the wash facility
  • Following the facility's HACCP plan and Foot Safety Program as written
  • Validate the HACCP critical control points and validate the HACCP process
  • Visual inspection o all tankers after the CIP cycle to ensure proper sanitation
  • Perform corrective actions as required per the critical control points of the written HACCP Plan
  • Inventory and accountability of all tanker seals issued at all times
  • Reconciliation of all tanker seals not used during the shift
  • Ensure compliance for all assigned personnel in following the 8 key areas:
  Safety of Processing Water
Condition and Cleanliness of Food contact Surfaces
Prevention of Cross-Contamination
Maintenance of Hand Washing, Head Sanitizing, Toilet Facilities
Protection from Adulteration
Toxic Compounds Labels and Documents checked before use
Employee Health Conditions
Exclusion of Pests
  • Operation of the Ecolab 5500W Electronic Wash Program Remote Controller
  • Completion and sign off of wash tickets af4er the proper wash protocol has been performed
  • Daily cleaning and maintenance of all floor drains, chemical room, equipment rooms
  • Ensure that the air dryer hose and filters are maintained and replaced as required. Bonnet installed on hose duct when not in use
  • Completion of end of shift wash down and maintenance of wash facility

Abilities and skills required:
Strong oral and written communication skills, strong organizational ability, detail oriented, ability to remain calm under pressure, handle multiple and varied tasks, basic typing. AS400 Innovative knowledge preferred and basic Microsoft office skills needed.

High School Diploma/GED or two years' experience in tank wash management.
