We currently have an opportunity for a Fleet Manager.


Serve as driver's supervisor/representative within Operations. Manage driver's performance in identified categories and be the primary communication link to drivers. Continuously work to achieve optimum driver and customer satisfaction.


  • Primary source of communication with driver, including, but not limited to, load information, purchase orders, maintenance coordination, performance counseling and dissemination of general company news and information
  • Ensure that each driver has an adequate understanding of all details of customer requirements and company expectations
  • Responsible for effective management of assigned fleet of tractors and drivers that will yield optimum performance including, but not limited to, the following categories:
    • On-time pickup and delivery performance
    • Out of route miles
    • Hours of service compliance
    • Driver availability
    • Accommodation of special routing needs
  • Cost control focus
  • Daily accounting of all assigned trucks and drivers and ensure highest possible utilization
  • Other duties as assigned by authorized personnel

Abilities and skills required:

Required skills and characteristics include strong oral and written communication, strong organizational ability, detail oriented, ability to remain calm under pressure, handle multiple and varied tasks, and basic typing skills. AS400 Innovative knowledge preferred and basic Microsoft Office skills are required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Requires reasonable manual dexterity.  


College degree or five years of fleet management experience


Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)
